    The Maine Aquaculture Association (MAA) is a non-profit trade association that represents the Maine aquaculture industry at the state, federal, and international levels. Our members grow fin fish, shellfish, and sea vegetables. We support economically and environmentally sustainable business practices and promote the benefits of aquaculture in the local food system.

    Maine Farm Bureau is a true grassroots organization made up of farmers who work together through county meetings and vote to identify key issues in Augusta and Washington D.C. Our goal is to advocate policies and practices that create growth and prosperity for those who harvest everything from land and sea. Maine Farm focuses on regulations that relate to production, processing, business practices and landowner rights.

    Since 1961, the Maine Forest Products Council has been the voice of Maine’s forest economy. The MFPC represents the diverse needs of Maine’s forest products community. Our members are landowners, loggers, truckers, paper mills, tree farmers, foresters and lumber processors, but they are also bankers, lawyers and insurance executives. We represent our members at the Maine Legislature, across the state, in Washington D.C. and across the nation.

    The Maine Dairy Industry Association is a trade association that represents Maine’s dairy farmers.

  • Maine Snowmobile Association

    The Maine Snowmobile Association has been an active and involved part of the Maine outdoors since 1968. From an initial meeting of six dedicated snowmobilers, the MSA has grown to include thousands of snowmobilers across the state and beyond. Club members throughout Maine work locally, regionally and at the state level to promote snowmobiling in Maine as a safe, fun, family oriented winter sport.

    Registered Maine Guides have a long and colorful history along with being recognized around the world as the gold standard in outdoor skills and knowledge. The Maine Professional Guides Association is made up of Registered Maine Guides who strive to enhance the standards of guiding. They are professionals dedicated to quality, ethical outdoor experiences.

    The Wild Blueberry Association of North America (WBANA) is a trade association of growers and processors of wild blueberries from Maine and Canada. Its mission is to educate consumers and the trade about the indigenous lowbush wild blueberry and its wild advantages, increase demand, and to help tell the wild blueberry health story.

  • Sportsman’s Alliance of Maine

    Maine’s largest sportsman’s organization with 8,000 members and a headquarters in Augusta, ME. SAM is considered the leader of Maine’s 300,000 sportsmen. SAM’s staff works at the legislature, state agencies and other forums on critical issues. SAM was organized in 1975 and is a 501 (c ) 3 non-profit membership organization to promote conservation of Maine’s wildlife resources and to be an advocate for hunters, anglers, trappers and gun owners throughout the state.

    Maine Woodland Owners is a statewide, member-supported organization that advances stewardship of Maine’s small woodland resources through the encouragement of good forest management and the advocating for and supporting of Maine’s small woodland owners. We are the only statewide organization dedicated to supporting the interests and serving the needs of Maine’s 86,000 woodland owners, owning from a few, to a few thousand acres.

  • Maine Trappers Association

    Formed in 1947, the Maine Trappers Association has a proud history of bringing about changes that have enhanced the image of trappers and trapping. We have been leaders in supporting the development of traps and trapping techniques that are effective and humane. We have successfully supported legislation that has made trapping more acceptable to the non-trapping public, including mandatory trapper education.
